Services

Our library offers checkout privileges to residents of Altamont, and other area residents with local references.

We also have a computer with high speed internet access available for patron use, with a 30 minute time limit.

Free wireless internet access is available to patrons who request it, but a username and password is required. Please contact us for details (there may be a slight waiting period).

We have a modern collection of fiction, non-fiction, newspapers, periodicals, VHS/DVD movies, audio CDs, and a rotating selection of books from the Southeast Kansas Library regional system.

Children participate in our reading program and story hour during the summer, and we work with the Altamont Grade School and USD 506 to provide Accelerated Reader reading lists to students.
